Munster Woman Dead Serious About Laughter Therapy
When Tanaz Bamboat of Munster says "goodbye," she adds the following phrase, "Have a good belly laugh." Born in India, Bamboat follows an alternative therapy that uses laughter as medicine. For three years, Bamboat has practiced a technique developed by Dr. Madan Kataria of India.
"When you are laughing, you are in a different world, and a good laugh equals 10 minutes on a rowing machine," Bamboat said. "My whole intention is to bring joy to people and inner peace. I train others seeking to lead sessions and will give free seminars."
